CEO David Burden today presented an overview of recent company initiatives at the Smart Business eConference.
The initiatives form part of a top-down rebuild of the existing business which will return the organic business to profitability and then allow for dramatic scaling.
Specific initiatives for Ansearch include: rolling out retail storefronts for its web design business arm (Webfirm); introducing a new network for Australian SMEs to advertise on previously unavailable websites (the searchworld Network); and continuing to sell points-of-interest on all maps powered by NAVTEQ through Ansearch Media.
Helping Ansearch achieve these goals are its talented board of directors. Both HitWise founders are on the Ansearch board (Mr. Andrew Barlow, Chairman; and Mr. Adrian Giles, Director) as are Dr. Adrian Vanzyl (former CTO of Microsoft, Sausage Software and LookSmart) as well as Mr. Burden himself (Legion Interactive founder and Mobile Marketer Of The Year).
